If you graduated recently or are about to, this week brings a useful mix of openings for freshers: two paid apprenticeships at global technology companies, a government R&D role in quantum computing, a cloud support role, an implementation engineer drive and a large campus hiring programme for 2026 graduates.
We have read each official posting and pulled out what matters: who can apply, what the work involves, the pay where it is published, and the deadline. Always confirm the details on the official link before you apply, because companies close or change postings without notice.

2. Cisco: Software Engineer Trainee (Technical Graduate Apprentice)
Location: Bengaluru, onsite · Job ID: 2014481 · Category: Internships and apprenticeships
Trainees join Cisco Engineering and work on projects such as using AI to make data centres more energy-efficient and building security systems that stop threats in real time.

- Deploying software and upgrades to a large SaaS environment, with change management.
- Building tools that automate complex operations tasks.
Who can apply
- Graduated in 2025 or 2026, with a final degree certificate or provisional degree certificate.
- Available for 12 months starting September 2026.
- Enrolled as a student on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) with a valid enrolment number. This is required for apprenticeships under India's National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, so register there first if you have not.
Note: When we checked, Cisco's portal showed this role as not accepting new applications, and the programme start date has passed. Keep it on your radar: Cisco runs these apprenticeships regularly, and the NATS enrolment you complete now will be needed for the next intake.

How to stand out in these applications
- Apply early. Two of these close within days, and apprenticeships fill quickly.
- Match your resume to the role. Put the skills each posting names (Java, SQL, STLC, cloud, Python, HPC) where a recruiter will see them, and back them with a project.
- Prepare for the online test. Most fresher hiring starts with aptitude and coding. Practise with our free placement mock tests, including the TCS NQT mock, which covers the same numerical, verbal, reasoning and coding sections many companies use.
- Watch for fraud. Genuine companies do not charge you for a job offer. Apply only through official career sites, and be wary of anyone asking for money or personal documents before an interview.
We will keep sharing verified fresher and internship openings. Follow ConfidentHire Academy on GeeksArray to get them as they come up.
